I have extensive maintenance experience in the hotel / hospitality industry. I have worked in various environments from Navy ships to hotels. I am hard-working and dedicated. I moved from Utility Engineer to Engineering Supervisor in 8 months. I then moved from Supervisor to Assistant Chief Engineer in 9 months. I can focus on important projects and I can multitask on a variety of items. I entered the field in 2007 and was Chief Engineer by 2010. Lead a team of four engineers responsible for 241 guestrooms, two meeting rooms, as well as the recreational spaces. Secured a double “Outstanding” rating on the 2019 Hilton Quality Assurance inspection for both the Hampton Inn and the Homewood Suites properties.

Responsible for management of the Engineering Department and Safety Committee. Lead a team of 5 engineers responsible for 201 rooms, over 6,000sqft of meeting space, and a full service restaurant. Managed rooms and equipment PM program. Completed a renovation to both guest rooms and public spaces, including the ballroom. Bolstered the energy efficiency by taking advantage of the Edison Rebate Program. Using these programs and others, the hotel is now 95% LED and by doing so, I have saved the company approximately 45% YOY in utility costs. Designed and completed a renovation of the fitness center to conform to current Hilton standards. Also responsible for the hotels CapEx planning, budgeting, and purchasing. Raised the Hilton QA audit from a 45% score in August 2016 to an 88% in December 2017 through extensive repairs and capital replacements. Achieved a company high 98% on our annual Employee Opinion Survey in 2017. Recently completed a renovation of the guest tower carpet and wall vinyl, as well as the installation of the new Hilton StayConnected Wi-Fi system.
