Projects:
Operations Manager:
Enabled communications infrastructure to expand and serve over 15,000 users and eight forward operating bases in Afghanistan by successfully researching, designing, presenting and gaining approval for power distribution grids that provided over 2000 kilowatts of electricity to essential personnel and communications equipment, which after performing a cost analysis saved the government over two million dollars a year in fuel, maintenance and manpower costs.
Created detailed utility wire diagrams and schematics for three separate medium to large sites/compounds, minimizing the response time by technicians for power and environmental control outages, resulting in zero loss of communications to tactical units in the area of operations.
Meticulously planned and supervised the assembly of a power distribution grid in Colombo, Sri Lanka for a joint computerized training operation between the US Marine Corps and Sri Lankan Marines.
Security Manager:
Developed, analyzed and reviewed security protocols used for emergency response to critical situations at United States Embassies and Consulates in Lagos, Nigeria; Tel Aviv, Israel and Bratislava Slovakia.
Class Advisor/Instructor:
Researched, analyzed, planned and gained approval for electrical equipment troubleshooting and repair simulators which improved students understanding of electrical systems and components resulting in hundreds of students improving their knowledge and expertise with associated concepts.
Improved the practical application of electrical systems troubleshooting by creating new faults/bugs in systems that the Marine Corps technicians are required to operate and repair in order to ensure the proper experience and expertise in said systems before completing a course.
Logistician:
Supervised and coordinated the research, purchase and shipment of millions of dollars in equipment and supplies being shipped from Okinawa, Japan to personnel on the ground in Thailand in support of a humanitarian aid mission. These actions resulted in our organization being able to successfully provide relief efforts to the Philippines, Thailand, New Zealand and other countries that were devastated.
Analyzed several curriculum’s, planned and coordinated a rotation for excessively used and damaged equipment with Logistics personnel from the equipment distribution agency within the Marine Corps in order to facilitate a refresh of equipment on a predetermined schedule. These actions mitigated a loss of instructional or operational time due to obsolete or nonoperational equipment and saved the government hundreds of thousands of dollars in repair and maintenance related costs.
