ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Implementation of CIO Techniques For Cycle Time Reduction And Material Flow Improvement Mann+Hummel, Michigan

●Employed Root Cause Analysis, ABC analysis, VSM and MRP implementation to reduce overall processing time for parts on an Assembly cell at Mann+Hummel. Lean Manufacturing techniques were used for system layout planning.

●Recommended new standard work instructions, E Kanban and QRM methodology to meet daily demand.

Ergonomic Analysis of Push up Training Regime on Different Equipment using ANOVA

●Analyzed stresses developed in upper body muscles using Electromyograph and EMGWorks software and used Minitab to compare factors involved and suggestions were given about the performance of push up exercise on a training system which will give appropriate output.

Application of Poka Yoke in An Exhaust Component Pridgeon & Clay, Grand Rapids, Mi

●In line Poka Yoke sensor was added to an exhaust component to avoid wrinkling by adding a pin with a sensor.
