Entire Interior and Exterior Trims Development.

Projects are in Development stage so referring benchmark and updating in the vehicle in terms of cost impact and environment.

Vehicle having different variants (Petrol, Diesel and EV) so while developing regulations to be considered for all the variants.

Refinements of Interior components .

Projects:

Hard board and Sandwich Vaccum formed Trims Modification.

Defrost and Demist Duct development Air volume to the cabin and Air distribution to the Wind Screen.(Closely working with CFD & CAE teams).

Ergonomics reviewing for the interior components including passenger seat impacts.

Benchmarking (Lab Vehicle) of in-house vehicle and similar kind of Vehicle.(Mercedes Sprinter,Toyota Yaris,Gurukh,Trax,Travellers )

Projects:

Creating the Instrument Panel Solid Model & 2D Drawings for Jaguar Vehicles as per the, Methodology. (Euro ECE-21) and to achieve the Jaguar Vehicle Testing Standards as per European Regulations by interacting with clients and if necessary applying changes required in designs.

Carried out the better possible fixations (Locating, Mounting & Component Interfaces) for Mercedes Benz Vehicle.by creating a Master Sketches and showing with benchmarking.

Validating the Products as to meet the Quality in terms of Coating, Painting, and Plating is required on the Products for Mercedes Benz Vehicle.

Creating the Front Door Trim Solid Model & 2D Drawings for Tesla Vehicle as per the Methodology. (FMVSS Standards (Head Impact, Knee Impact Requirements)) My responsibilities are checking of Instrument panel, console(with Armrest).

Ensuring the Vehicles ARAI Requirements on each Product (Dashboard & Console)

Much Work involved in Vehicle assembly so that countermeasure provided while assembling.

Preparing the APQP, DFMEA, PPAP and other Documents regularly.

Components Worked With:

Dashboard,Airbag, Air vent Bezels,Console,BIW Frames, Air Duct, Defrost, Demist Bezels, Glove box, Storage Bins, Steering Wheel,Carpet, Ignition System,7”Inch LED Screen,AC Control Switches, Map Pocket, Top Roll, Door Trim, Grab Handle (inner & outer),Headliner Trims,A,B,C Pillars.

Involvement during vehicle launch:

Air leakage observed in the side air vent regions – it is resolved by changing flap design.

Head impact zone analysis preparing – Ensuring the Sphere Ball interference is given properly.

Homologation and Accessibility lines in the cluster region.

Prompt to give ideas however checking with the other similar vehicles.

Nature of Work : Changing Dashboard Plastic Trims to Composite Trim for the BMW Vehicle.

2.Features Dog house, Clip tower separately manufactured and welding or Glued to Composite.

3.For NVH, Insulation and Stiffness absorption separate foam integrated.

4.For SRS airbags perforated path have been Changed.

5 Checking on Physical Composite Trims for implementing in the Vehicle.
