Maintains a record of all activities within the department.

Monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage as well as wastage.

Co-ordinate with engineering department for execution of repair and maintenance.

Co-ordinate with horticulturist and florist.

Implement and control linen and uniform room operations/system.

Managing of cleaning by contract cleaners.

Handling store requisition to maintain par stock and implement cost control.

Follow up with purchase department for pending housekeeping indent/supply.

Co-ordinate with front desk for guest room blocking, Room change and guest comments.

Assist department head in vendor/supplier selection.

Assist department head in preparation of “standard operating procedure (SOP)”

Monitor machines & equipment’s regular maintenance with the co-operation of engineering
