Site survey was conducted in entire ORYX GTL plant to identify as built condition of the fire proofing on structure / equipment support (saddles, skirts, lugs, legs) and provided the fire proofing requirement for each structure & equipment based on the guidelines of “Passive fire proofing requirement for the refinery” API 2218.

DED for ATR Platform Modifications (MOC -1445)

Design & detailing of existing ATR platform was performed to reduce number of beam & connection to optimize the duration of removal of beams for the burner maintenance.

DED of U-45 Wax Drain Collection and Recycling (MOC-1057)

Manual wax draining system shall be modified to automatic drain system in wax filter and nitrogen line was provided to wax unit.

FEED & DED for new shell and tube exchangers to replace the existing 160-ES-003 & 160-ES-004 (MOC-1639)

Adequacy of existing pipe rack structure is performed to replace the new exchanger and new foundation design is carried out to place the new exchanger on ground.

FEED for perimeter fence protection (Security & surveillance) MOC-134

In line with MOI (Ministry of interior) law 9 regulations, perimeter fence protection (security & surveillance) was developed and existing guard house building is extended to accommodate the server room, CCTV control room, battery room & UPS room. Adequacy of the existing building is performed for the proposed modification.

Assessment of existing Main control building, Admin building, Remote interface building and guard house buildings for the blast over pressure.

Assessment of existing main control building, admin building, Remote interface building and guard house building for the blast over pressure as latest QRA study and strengthening methods are proposed in line with vendor recommendation.

DED for New Admin Building and access Road (MOC1168 & 1093).

Design and detailing of pre-engineered admin building with access roads. Reviewed the design calculation for structure prepared by Specialized vendor. Replacement existing fire water pipeline (MOC-1269)

FEED and DED was performed to replace the entire fire water pipe network from the ORYX GTL plant as the existing pipe material (GRP) is weak at bends and joints and required the frequent maintenance. It is a challenge to replace the existing pipe in the running plant and finally achieved with lot of effort.

Developing the fire water network including UG scanning for the secondary area (MOC-1911)

A fire water network is developed for the secondary area of the ORYX GTL plant. Underground utility layout, road & utility crossing details and protection to the fire water pipe are developed as part this work order.

Developing the Storm water drainage network for the secondary area (MOC-2079)

A storm water drainage (French drain) is developed for the secondary area of the ORYX GTL plant for the rainfall intensity provided in Qatar highway design manual and Qatar Storm water drainage design manual.

By pass line for the cooling water line in unit-20 & 50 (MOC-2028)

Bypass line was provided for the cooling water pipe line by providing additional valve pit and above ground pipe supports.

PSV sparing project. (MOC-1777)

An existing structure are used to support the PSV at unit-10 & 40 and adequacy of the structure was checked. New access platforms are provided and pipe supports are considered as per the new pipe routing provided by piping.

Transformer shed for the storage (MOC-2032)

A transformer shed (33mx8m) is designed and detailed with removable roof for the storage of transformer.

Responsible for all civil & structural deliverables.

Site survey conducted for all work orders to observe the site condition based on the scope of respective packages.

Project: FEED for Mitigation of Soil Erosion at FMPS and NFIS with in Dukhan- Client: Qatar Petroleum

Storm water is flowing from higher to lower elevation and soil gets eroded and the rainwater is entering to the plant facilities also. As a mitigation work, the storm water flow speed is controlled by using the retaining bund walls and retention ponds. The flow is diverted by providing interceptors, slope protection, protection wall at various locations as part of the mitigation work.

Responsible for civil & structural deliverables.

Site survey is performed along with Topographical surveyor and get the information’s. Permeability factor is calculated by testing the soil.

Three-way valve is included in the existing pipeline and monorail is designed for the 2.5 & 15 Ton capacity. Adequacy of the existing reactor structure is checked for the load due to pipe supports & valve.

Temporary admin building in Raslaffan MOC (1156) and paving road from gate 3 to Project warehouse and contractors site facilities MOC (1093)

Architectural layout was developed by using STUP consultant and preliminary Design is developed for the admin building. Identify the type of streel structure either pre-engineered or conventional steel structure. The secondary area layout is developed for the admin building with road, parking, landscaping etc. Quantity of the material requirement is estimated and cost of the project was calculated for the tender.

Detail Engineering Design (DED) for interconnecting line between East and West WWTP (11.5kM) & ORYX GTL to East WWTP (7.5km) in RLIC to comply with MOE's recommendation of zero TIW discharged to sea for MOC -1195 – 18KM

Underground pipeline is routed from East WWTP to west WWTP & ORYX GTL to East WWTP in Raslaffan. Topographical & UG detection survey and geotechnical investigation is performed by using third party subcontractor. Existing pipe rack in ORYX GTL unit -90 is used to route the fire water pipeline and adequacy check for the same structure is performed. New pump foundations and valve pits are designed and detailed. A pipe supporting trestle is designed to support the pipe in higher elevations. Road crossings and utility crossings are developed and micro tunneling is proposed in the Raslaffan avenue.
