Working as a labour I worked on many different sites working away from home, doing many things such helping Joiners strip out and clearing out restaurants, houses,hotels. Filling it all in a skip making sure the skip is neat and tidy. Cleaning the work vans, cleaning the office, toilets. Cleaning out peoples houses. Going to the merchants with the the van driver picking up wood gyproc, plasterboard etc.

Renfrewshire Leisure - Swimming Instructor

As a swimming instruction my role is to initially assess the children’s swimming ability. Work is carried out by me in a group setting and also on a one to one basis, to allow the children to feel motivated, confident and gain swimming skills to achieve their own potential. During the swimming lesson’s I use many skills such as engaging and building positive relationships to allow the children to feel comfortable, confident and motivated. I use listening and communication skills to convey instructions to allow the children to progress in their swimming ability.

I am volunteer and my duties include answering phones and dealing with customer enquiries. I also file and carry out general office duties as required.
