Building Maintenance Engineer
participate in day-to-day operations and activities related to facility maintenance and repairs within our campus building systems. Perform troubleshooting while assisting in service calls / work orders related to: Boilers, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and the complete infrastructure. Spearhead miscellaneous construction / general labor duties as necessary, including carpentry, drywall, painting, tiling, carpeting, roofing, acoustic ceiling work, concrete, artwork / wall protection installation and more.
Direct experience addressing a wide variety of issues, from leaking roofs to damaged equipment. Recently led contract negotiations, thereby saving the facility over $50k on a current exterior painting project.
Maintain a critical, on-call role within a rotating team of building engineers.
Assist in day to day operations coordinating with the Enviro Mental Services department, Kitchen staff, Security Services and the Engineering department.

Project Superintendent on a high-profile condominium upgrade and remodel, thereby maintaining responsibility throughout the entire project lifecycle. Directed complete project: Coordinated employee scheduling and time cards. Assumed responsibilities for ordering/receiving materials and submitting change orders in tandem with monthly billing cycles.
Led a renovation valued at $1.2M while cultivating and fostering relations with key personnel and figureheads, ultimately completing the project both on time and under budget.
Directed and led jobsite safety meetings with all involved personnel and subcontractors, thereby ensuring personal health and well-being.
