All aspects of machine shop duties including mill work, lathes and surface grinding. Manufacture graphite mandrels for glass redrawing.

Promoted to shop foreman after displaying the ability to manage customers’ needs, recognizing what the company was able to manufacture and repair, as well as handle the issues of employees as needed. This position also required welding skills, forklift operation, fit and assembly of parts into mechanical equipment and operating a wide variety of machine tools and sheet metal equipment. Additional duties include welding of steel, stainless steel, aluminum and cast iron. Spray welding including shaft build-up, protective coatings and repair.
