The Borgen Project - Headquarters in Seattle Washington · January, 2019 – April, 2019 I completed a 4 month long, part-time internship with The Borgen Project, a non-profit organization that secures congressional support for global poverty legislation. I received three awards, one for raising over $1,200, another for meeting with Sen. Gillibrand’s, Sen. Schumer’s and Rep. Morelle’s offices, and for mobilizing over 70 people to email their congressional officers. I completed weekly tasks such as calling congressional offices, campaigning, emailing congressional assistants regarding legislative priorities for the 116th Congress, and networking.
