Steve Hubbard
Sales Manager, Business Mobile SEO/Zolly Blue
Steve Hubbard has been in critical leadership roles throughout his career. With ability to adapt, he has become efficient in making quick business decisions and is able to plan and execute on those decisions. Whether being in charge of the budget for the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, where he received a Good Conduct Award for service, or directing companies with their online and offline marketing campaigns. He has enjoyed a string of successes.
Through his experience with more than a dozen start-ups and management/buildup of companies’ sales and marketing structures, he’s gained an understanding of what it takes to succeed in many business formats. A philosophy that he lives by is to “Build a business with the belief that it will be huge. That in turn drives a person to apply systems which later grow into assets.”
He has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as:
Ford Owens Corning
General Electric Delta Faucet Co.
Boeing Bobcat
Caterpillar US Army
Halliburton IG Glass
Rockwell Automation Schlumberger
Mr. Hubbard has been involved in executive leadership positions which allowed him to build an array of analytical abilities centering on start-ups and company acquisitions. In 1999, he became the Senior Vice President of EscrowData.com. There he developed the sales model and platform that eventually became the company’s revenue model for future products.
In 2002, the company MyJobSearch.com, which eventually was acquired by Monster.com, hired Mr. Hubbard to develop the sales and revenue model for the enterprise and affiliate sector of that company. These strategies helped grow that enterprise and became the main basis for Monster.com’s acquisition.
As another example of leadership, Mr. Hubbard was hired in the capacity as a start-up expert to help develop the business model and the sales/marketing structure for IndustrialTrainingZone.com. The company grew for several years and developed a proprietary training software in the disciplines of mechanical, electrical, pneumatics and PLC (Programable Logic Control; used in robotics and automation). The company was acquired by Lab-Volt Technologies. During ownership transition, three employees were retained by Lab-Volt Technologies to help facilitate the smooth transfer of technology and equipment. One of the three being Mr. Hubbard.
His current companies, Business Mobile SEO and Zolly Blue were developed to “Help businesses achieve growth and ROI, by creating, managing, implementing and tracking their online marketing. Through constant improvement, proven marketing success and the building relationships of trust and respect with our clients.”
Both Business Mobile SEO and Zolly Blue are run with efficiencies typically associated with a manufacturing business. Project management is applied to each client’s service bundles from the beginning, and a six-sigma constant improvement philosophy is used to continually improve each client’s marketing goals.
One client described the work done for him by Business Mobile SEO… “It’s as if I’ve staffed an internal marketing department to clean up my online automated marketing and search results, but at a fraction of the cost. I don’t think I could have done any better if I’d created a new department from scratch.”
Mr. Hubbard studied business and science at College of Marin near San Francisco, completed the accounting program at the Naval Aviation School (NAS) in Meridian, MS and continues his education through MIT at the Sloan School of Business Management.
He has gained a vast amount of knowledge through his experience building businesses over twenty-five years.
