Position: Sr-Planning Engineer

Responsibilities:

Reviewing weekly and monthly updated schedule of the Contractor and forward to the PM, CM with comments.

Reviewing the weekly and monthly reports of the Contractor and forward to the PMCM with comments.

Ensure that the Contractors outlined deadlines/Milestones are met.

Works close to the Resident Engineer to ensure that the Project runs on schedule.

Flag the potential delays ahead of time looking into the progress of works to ensure that the necessary mitigation measures are implemented by the Contractor.

Monitor the material procurement schedule of the Contractor including submission of the QA/QC related document timelines as per schedule, and compare the delivery dates of procurement table with the dates in the updated schedule to measure any deviation and notify the contractor to take any corrective action.

Monitor the resources of the Contractor at site in comparison to the requirement in the baseline schedule.

Planning Engineer has to prepare the Consultant Reports for submission to the PM, CM which include site actual progress visiting plan progress, SV, SPI and TF.

Rreview and comment the EOT claim of the Contractor in any format as required by the Client and prepare the Consultant report for the review and approval of the Resident Engineer, based on Contract Conditions and specifications.

Carrying out of any task been assigned to me by PM to Prepare PM letters and contractors response letters as per my discipline.

Project Brief: Main station with three lines, Cost: 428,000,000 SR Position: Sr. Planning Engineer& Cost control.

Responsibilities:

Prepare Master & Detailed Construction Schedule for EPC (Engineering-Procurement- Construction) project in coordination with construction manager, interface managers, package managers and subcontractors.

Supervise planners in preparing Short-Term Schedules, Plan of the Day Schedule and communicate the plans to in-charge project/site engineers for proper implementation. Follow up with Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams to collect and verify project progress then use them in updating project schedule to assess if the project milestones are achievable.

Prepare marked-up drawings to track and verify the progress received from site engineers and subcontractors.

Ensure that shop drawing schedules and material delivery schedules are well planned and in accordance with construction sequence of the planned project.

Analyze actual project progress, review interim milestones path, revised critical path and available floats of activities and recommend possible solutions to Project Manager, Construction Manager if critical path is beyond the required completion dates.
