The undersigned strived tirelessly to raise the Academic Index Performance (API) of the school from 32.79 to 322.85 which is self-indicative of the performance of the individual. The School has been brought to 1

Public Schools in the country by the unflinching efforts of the undersigned. Moreover, during the peak agitation period in Kashmir valley from June, July, Aug. & Sep. 2010, Army Public School BB Cantt, Srinagar did not close in spite of Bandh Calls given by the separatists and imposition of curfew. The school, during the turmoil period, was the only school in the valley which was functional and did not lose working days despite all the odds.

During the devastating floods, undersigned motivated the staff, students as well as worked incessantly for the restoration of school and supervised the rescue of Page 5 of 9

marooned hostellers and Class IV employees of APS Srinagar on 7 th

Moreover, worked tirelessly towards restoration of flooded school building ensuring its reopening on 10

educational institutions and normal life of Kashmir valley was disrupted due to incessant curfew and strikes. APS Srinagar was the only educational institution functional in the Kashmir valley, not losing even a single working day. I have not only ensured quality education but also carried out improvements in the functioning of the school. This has resulted in significant improvement in discipline, academics and extra co-curricular activities which also enhanced the standard of school as well as became more popular amongst all ranks and civilian population in the valley.
