Job Responsibilities:
1. CBAHI preparation and chairperson for all chapters related to Nursing standards ( Nursing- Patient and Family Education- Nutrition ) 2. Responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of Nursing and Nursing Education & Research at the health care institution. 3. Develops and implements a strategic plan for nursing in keeping with hospitals overall strategical, mission, resource allocation and operational policies.
4. Liaises with nursing staff at all levels to ensure effective communication and motivation of staff across the nursing division & provides counsel and guidance to nursing staff as indicates.
5. Supports the professional development of nurses throughout the organizational and identify development needs across the division. 6. Plans training programs that address identified learning needs. 7. Collaborates with Medical Leadership, other hospital departments and staff to promote the most effective and efficient patient/family care with the available nursing resources from outpatient visit to admission through discharge.
8. Monitors budgetary activity as a whole and ensures that a balance between quality nursing care and budget requirements is maintained 9. Ensures the retention of high quality nursing staff, and the recruitment of well qualified and experienced staff.
10. Promotes nursing as a professional carrier nationally and promotes initiatives to encourage Saudi Nurses to join the nursing team. 11. Participants in Hospital-wide Performance Improvement Activities. And Participates in educational patient's programs.
