Prepare monthly financial package including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement, including breakdown of Line of Business and convenant package for Lenders and Private Equity. Prepare stand alone financial statement for each department to track expense vs. budget and trend analysis. During the month responsible for supervising staff of four, forecasting and cash flow for CEO and Private equity. Responsible for Budget for company and each department expense anaysis and cash outlays (CAPEX) for the year compared to Budget. Manage cash flow and update CEO weekly and maintain bank relationship.

SVS – 20 stores and ecommerce

Corporate Controller ($28 million) 2016-2019

Prepare monthly financial package including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement. In addition, prepared store analysis and ecommerce comparing to budget and forecast. The package is presented to The Board of Directors for review and reviewed with the leadership team. During the month responsible for supervising staff of four, 2 A/P clerks, payroll/bookkeeper and A/R clerk. Also, prepare all journal entries, depreciation analysis, sales and use tax returns, track inventory and adjust accordingly for the warehouse and each store. Responsible for Budget for company and each store and cash outlays (CAPEX) for the year. Manage cash flow and update president weekly and maintain bank relationship with monthly report. In addition to the working with CPA firm on the year end audit, prepare a five year forecast for ESOP reporting and report to the trustee’s quarterly. HR responsibilities include insurance analysis, and preparing reviews for leadership members with president.

Prepare accurate monthly P&Lby department, including comparison to budget and last year. Monthly review with General Manager and Regional Financial representatives. During the month responsible for forecasting for the hotel, A/P, A/R, cash forecasting on daily basis and reporting to corporate. Balance Sheet reconciliations due mid month and approving all journal entries and daily transactions within the hotel. Prepare annual budget by department taking into account any increases over prior year and explaining via variance report.

Prepare accurate monthly and year end financial statements including the P&L, Cash Flows, Budget to Actual and Balance Sheet presented to Executive Director and Board.
