Saqlain is a Document Control & EDMS Administrator professional with over 15 years’ experience in implementation and management of Document, Record & Information Management Systems and processes. He has been involved in several major building, infrastructure & engineering projects across UAE & Qatar. He is familiar with all major electronic Document Control Systems. As a Senior Professional Document Controller my duties are:
Working as central point of document control contact for Client, Consultant & Contractors
Supervise the Document Control operations throughout the life cycle of the Capital projects
Managing the Aconex administration roles and settings for internal and external users
Creating and managing the workflows on Aconex
Implementation of Document Control Procedures which includes the preparation of Document Management Plan, Document Numbering Procedure, Process Flows, Folder Structure, etc. and ensure its effective use to facilitate and support business objective

Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.
Responsible in setting-up the company's Document Control Center by formulating project specific DCC Procedure per client's requirements.
