HSEQ ENGINEER/ADVISOR

Career Objective:

I joined NDGAL Engineering (ADNOC GROUP) as a HSEQ Engineer and assisted in developing the HSE system. Skilled in all aspects of Health and Safety engineering with a background in Environmental Engineering and a blend of Managerial skill, I was in charge of the implementation of the HSE system, ensure standards were observed, conducted in-depth statistical analyses; defined risk, hazard identification, hydrocarbon process safety and process safety management, logistics and transport operations, fire protection and emergency response. I proposed appropriate solutions in accordance with applicable legislation cooperation policy, developed Environmental Sustainability knowledge, controlled environmental risks, and ensure the implementation of new standards. I was a contact for inspection services, personnel trainings on standard to be observed and conducted internal/external awareness campaigns. I also recommended and implemented Human Rights Initiative, NNNB, Zero Harm/Waste Goals and a robust Safety Culture.

I helped build up plant reporting infrastructure from the ground up, process maintenance, optimized craft plant performance reporting to ensure plant process and unit optimization. I was also the Supervisor PTW (Permit to Work) and Asset Integrity in different organizations I served including ADNOC GP Habshan 5 process plant Abu Dhabi. In my bid to stay open to new knowledge and sustainable development, I completed the following courses; ‘Renewable Energy Scheme’ faculty of Engineering, University of Pennsylvania USA, ‘Oil & Gas Operations/Markets’, Duke University, and ‘Science of Wellbeing’, faculty of Psychology/brain sciences, Yale University, Connecticut USA. I’m currently training on the IBOEHS Registered Safety Manager (USA) and the BSC Level 6 International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (UK). 2

My 12 years cognate experience in HAZOP, IWCF-WOCRM, TRA, HAZID, SIL, LOPA, ENVID, CCPS, PTW Systems, MSRA, Process Safety Management, Risk Based Process Safety (RBPS), PSM Programs, Oil & Gas Operational Safety & Environmental Risk Control, ISO 14001 & 45001, Directional Drilling, Photovoltaic-Eolic-Hydroelectric System Design, Enhance Oil Recovery, Incident Investigation, Renewable Energy and Energy Systems, Energy Audits, Power and Energy Calculations and Exploring Behavioral Change (happiness, gratitude, meditation, savoring) on the science of wellbeing, enables me achieve optimal results in projects, safely and timely.

I am particularly excited about my job because it provides the chance for me to do what I love;

- Developing energy that powers the world which comes with the responsibility to contain that energy from the point of discovery through vessels, pipelines, refineries and service stations etc.

My aim in Process Operational Safety is to elevate and humanize a lucrative enterprise experience built around these 3 core competencies; A safer workplace - (The Zero Harm Goal); Achieving Zero Harm to people, asset and the environment. Keeping people safe from injury and loss of life, and environmental risk management and sustainability.
