VOLUNTEER
Technology Coordinator for St. Dominic PTO August 2019 – Present My duties include the design and upkeep of the St. Dominic PTO web page, along with content marketing and design on Facebook and Instagram. I also create collateral for school PTO events. The First Annual Gray Games for Lauren Hill November 2014 / November 2015 I, along with coordinators from the St. Dominic little league basketball program, organized a fundraiser for Lauren Hill and The Cure Starts Now in 2014 and the Forever 22 Scholarship Fund in 2015. We implemented many different basketball challenges and fundraising efforts along with a balloon release in remembrance of Lauren. We had 17 little league teams participate and collect donations leading up to the weekend games. We raised a total of $2,574 for the cause in 2014 and $1,300 in 2015. This was a huge success! St. Dominic Fish FryDays February 2015 / February 2017 I was the Marketing and Advertising Coordinator for this event and created signage, menus, coupons, a Facebook page and listed our fish fry in as many publications. I made changes to the flow of traffic and ordering process and also added weekly specials. There is a Facebook post everyday and within the first 3 weeks we were able to gain over 100 likes. Within the first 5 weeks we had our most successful Friday of all time, followed by second and third runners up as well. Each week gets busier and busier and many folks have been quoted as saying, “We just love the atmosphere and how smooth things are running - it’s now a fun place to hang out with friends and family!” We succeeded our profit year to date in 6 weeks during the 2015 event. The 2016 event was unfortunately put on hiatus, but we continued with the event in 2017. The event was yet again a big success for our community and athletic department.
