Office Safety

I haven't written a resume but am willing to fill out an application. I've worked for Patterson for many years being the last 4 years I was a motorhand on the same rig. Before that I worked as a floorhand and a driller. I liked working on the kelly rigs and the last one I drilled on was back in 2004 -2011. I really enjoy being on the rigs seeing the new ways that the industry has improved. I don't mind the work and hitches. It's been my way of life. I have been asked many times to "break in" the new hands which I make sure they are safety oriented. I really enjoy seeing the new guys learn and get better or move up in the company. Alot of the guys I've worked with have moved into office positions or supervisor positions. As for me I just like being on the rigs. Any time I've been asked to move up I usually let the other guy take it. I'd rather stay on the rigs as an older hand and make sure that everyone stays safe. If given an opportunity to work for you I will prove my worth.
