Job Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate with client inspector (TPI) & certification agency surveyors (CA) for inspection activities and documentation.

Witness painting as per ONGC codes/ requirement.

Verification and application of the requirements of the applicable welding codes,scope of work and issued for construction(IFC) drawings.

Verification against the documentation and marking of correctness of parent materials.

Review of WPS,PQR,ITP,Weld Plan,Procedures as per project specifications and standards.

Material verification with the support of mill test certificate (MTC).

Verification to ensure that the applicable welding procedures specification(WPS) are approved by the appropriate authorities prior to start any welding activities.

Verification and correctness of welding consumable such as welding electrodes,filler wires,consumable,inserts gases,fluxes,etc.

Witnessing of welders and welding procedures approval test as required.

Verification and validation the calibration certification of welding machines/equipment’s as per requirements.

Interpretation of Radiographyic films and witnessing PT,UT & MT and review of PWHT charts.

Painting inspection with related activities.

Developing system and procedure for corrosion inspection including review project specifications comply with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and adhere to the related safety requirements as per the project specification.

Preparation of Quality control documents, preparing Weekly & Monthly Reports for Management and Clients, Weekly Meeting with Clients for Technical Clarification/Punch List clearance/Rectification of Deficiencies if any.

Ensure that all required qualifications are performed by contractor before project start Onshore & offshore (PQT, PPT). HSS(FJC)Application.
