Design and optimization of Heat Integrated Distillation Column: Energy saving of distillation processes constitutes an inevitable demand for a sustainable industry. Through our project we aim to reduce the energy consumption up to 43 % than a normal distillation process The project covers the equipment design calculations of a typical HIDiC including the column, heat exchanger, compressor, condenser and reboiler components.
