Payroll function:

• Responsible for the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll for 4 Companies, approximately 170 employees, on the payroll system

• Full cycle of payroll processing from capturing of new employees, leave and terminations

• Review and ensure accuracy of approved advances, travel and overtime claims

• Responsible for the coordination between payroll and business, to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data

• Update salary sheets and schedules

• Communicate payroll changes to the Financial Manager on time

• Submit payroll reports on time to the Finance Department

• Distribute employee payslips

• Answer and clarify payroll related inquiries

• Submit EMP 201’s on SARS

• Send IRP 5’s to all current and previous employees HR function:

• Provide new employees with employment contracts and employment packs

• Maintain employee records, ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis

• Review changes for proper authorization

• Maintain the administration of the Biometric system

• Maintain a proper document control system
