DUTIES

I have operated Rotary Compression Moulding, PVC lined, Off set Gravue Printing and internal cap printing machines. I am currently minding Rotary Web offset printing machines. Undertake ongoing quality checks. I have repaired and maintained the various machines in order to achieve optimum production with low spoilage. Trouble shooting and improvements towards continuous customer satisfaction. Supervisory, stores, stock control, dispatching, hyster driving and material handling were part of my duties.

Since March 2007 to date I am working as a machine minder contracted to Natal Independent Newspapers. Although I am not a qualified artisan I am performing my tasks independently and effectively as that to a trade tested employee.
