May I have the honor to apply for the position of Accounting/Finance Manager that merits my qualifications and background education and work experience. I am very much interested and would like to apply for an Accounting position that is commensurate to my credentials. I am Gerard Ramirez Basco, Filipino, Married, 45 years of age and a B.S. Accountancy graduate of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in Sta. Mesa, Manila. I completed last year 2004 my post graduate studies with a degree in MBA Major in Financial Management at the National College of Business and Arts (NCBA) in Fairview, Q.C. Philippines

I was previously connected with 7 years of stay with the Philippine National Construction Corporation (PNCC); a Philippine government owned and controlled corporation and the main franchise holder of our country's Tollways and Expressways (up to the year 2007). I started out as an accounting clerk and was promoted to a position as OIC, Project Comptroller/Accountant and was assigned to various PNCC construction projects until I volunteered to be included in the Company's retrenchment program last March 2002.

I also got connected with the Star infrastructure and Development Corporation, SKI Construction Group, Inc. and with Makati Development Corporation wherein I was a Project Controller/Accountant.

I finished working for 4 years (under 2 contracts) in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Keircom International Ltd. and with Petron Saudi Company as a Senior Accountant/Project Comptroller.

Currently I am working for Saudi Lebanese Tarouk Contracting Co. Ltd. But the Saudi Arabia economic condition regarding the construction industry is currently taking a toll on my finances. I shall ask Tarouk management to release me (for I already have a transferable iqama).
