Inspection Activities:
In coming material Receiving inspection of (UTG drill pipe, Tool joints, API & Premium threaded connections, Saver subs, IPC coated drill pipes & consumable items.
Brinell hardness test on the tool joints.
Line Inspection on CNC threading of API connections, VAM connections, VAM TOP OCTG Connections & NOV Premium connections
Mechanical testing carry out as per the API-5DP Requirement.(Charpy impact test, side bend test, Rock well Hardness test, etc)
NDT Inspection on UT, MPT & PT Testing on the Weld zone and Hard band inspections.
In process inspection of the drill pipe assembly (Friction welding, Heat treatment & Hard banding process) as per the API 5DP requirement and tool joint threading process
Maintain the Heat treatment parameters with different grades as per the WPS & PQR and qualify the test weld process
Capable to check all types of instruments (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Profile projector, Lead gauge, Thread height gauge, Thread taper gauge & MRP gauge)
Monitoring and checking phosphate of tool joint and carried out coating weight test
Operator Qualification & Process Qualification shall be carry out such as Hard banding and phosphate process
Phosphate chemical titration shall be check to maintain the bath concentration Calibration Activities:
Doing the in-house calibration of all instruments (Vernier caliper, Micrometer & Dial indicators) with reference standard
Doing the in house calibration of API Working Ring and Plug gauges with reference master as per the API7-2 Requirement
Charpy impact machine verification has been done according to the NIST requirement and maintains the records.
Documents Activities:
Preparing the inspection forms, logs and other all related QMS documents for the process
Analysis Root cause analysis and corrective action for all NCR
