Academic Project:
Design and Analysis of Crankshaft: Crankshaft is a key shaft which translate reciprocating motion to a rotary motion, which is then followed by flywheel crankshaft that should undergo a lot of damping force. While engine is running, we have designed crankshaft with required dimensions in CAD tools namely CATIA V5 R20. After the design is completed, it is imported to ANSYS 16 for model analysis. We did this process for three different metals and concluded that the structural steel will give best result than other material.
