•Helped overhaul Clarion program which automated Alchemy batch scripts which replace the Operators entry of 2 screens. This automation completely eliminated operator’s errors in burning the St. Louis County CDROM reports.
•Eliminated 800 production hours by automating comparison of 5 national vehicle files through design and development of a COBOL match/merge program.
•Trained 135 St. Louis County employees to use the Alchemy software v3.12 so they could access reports from the CDROM jukebox that were previously on microfiche.
•Organized Alchemy software upgrade form v3.12 to 6.
•Completed a conversion to expand street name from 16 to 25 characters, expand status code to characters, and add a suffix to name fields. This conversion in COBOL required updated to 96 batch programs and several files and effected Elections, Jury, and Grand Jury.
