EXPERIENCE
ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER/HR • SMART72
APRIL 2019 – CURRENT
Since moving to San Luis Obispo, I have established myself as one of the executive managers of a small business. I have a great rapport with employees in each area of the company. I have successfully navigated through the new laws and business practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. Other Human Resource responsibilities that I have are managing the Small Group Health Benefits by conducting monthly audits, open enrollment, adding new hires, and offering options for employees to choose the best health benefits plan. I also revise the Employee Handbook regularly so that the language is up to date and complies with new laws.
By applying my knowledge of accounting principles, I reconciled all business accounts (over 6 months past due). By organizing and restructuring the Accounting and Human Resources office I was able to make sure the company is currently in compliance. Within the first 6 months of employment, I conducted an annual budget meeting and have continued to meet the goals and expectations that were set. Weekly responsibilities that I perform are approving all timekeeping records, processing payroll for 45 employees, hiring, and terminating employees. I am the direct manager of the Accounts Payable/Receivable staff. I create and maintain the Daily Cash Flow report and Daily Accounts Receivable report.
In addition to the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Solar company, I used the same accounting practices for the Commercial Building company, Kendall Road, LLC. I manage all rent collections, accounts payable, and reconciliations.
