Duties included: formulating bid packages, and defining work scope; managing bid reviews, post bid interviews, and contract awards; coordinating subcontractor’s work sequence; managing all construction, including QA/QC; making recommendations to owner regarding aspects of design, construction, budget and/or schedule; managing subcontractor change orders; tracking job cost and preparing construction manager’s reports for owner and architect; developing financial status reports for company executives; and facilitating contract closeout process. American Dream, East Rutherford, NJ

Owner’s Representative – Managed various design and construction phases of the $5 billion, 3.5 million SF American Dream development – an entertainment retail destination. The property began its phased opening in October 2019, with grand opening expected for the end of Q1 2020 and final completion Q4 2020. Upon final completion, the complex will feature 400 retail stores, indoor amusement park, indoor water park, indoor ski hill, indoor aquarium, and multiple movie theaters spread across 16 acres. Westin Nanea Ocean Resort and Villas, Maui, HI (New Build) Owner’s Representative – Provided project management services for the Westin Nanea Ocean Resort and Villas. The $300 million large-scale timeshare resort consisting of eight separate wings, each six levels, totaling 390 keys to one, two, and three-bedroom units, along with two four-story parking structures and resort amenities. The project was split into two phases. Phase one was completed in April 2017, which included a large resort pool, 200 rooms, kids pool area/waterslide, towel hut, faux beach, full- service restaurant with two full service kitchens, timeshare resort sales gallery and the two four-story parking garages. Phase two was completed in September 2017 and included 190 Rooms, three separate building structures, each six stories, three water features, two plunge pools, towel hut, and beach equipment rental building.

Hyatt Residence Club, Maui, HI (New Build)

Owner’s Representative – Provided project management services from start of construction through closeout. The Hyatt Residence Club is a $150 million, 13 story, 131 room, new ground development and timeshare resort. The building consists of one, two, and three-bedroom luxury resort units, as well as detailed luxury resort and Timeshare amenities including a pool bar, full service merchandise store, restaurant, large integrated pools, waterslide, and ocean-side event lawn. The scope also included design and development of the timeshare sales gallery and preview walkway.

Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, Maui, HI

Owner’s Representative – Provided project management services for the renovation of the following projects at the existing active Regency resort:

Jr. Suites Renovation in Two Towers: Scope included design & construction coordination of the $15 million towers, as well as responsible for tracking FF&E scope and closeout process. Project also included full redesign and renovation of all bathrooms.

Premier Suites Renovation: The $10 million renovation included design and construction coordination for three high end suites (The Presidential, The Premier and The Hemitter Suite). Also responsible for FF&E scope tracking and closeout.

Parking Lot and ADA Scope Completion: In coordination with the new timeshare project, the shared resort parking lost required stalls, due to the expansion nearly doubling their size. The addition of access gates for both resort and timeshare guests were required, as well as valet access gates and ADA/Beach access parking added.

$6 million.

Luau Event Renovation: The Hyatt Regency Luau (“Drums of the Pacific”) draws 700+ guests a night for a Hawaiian luau experience seven nights a week. Renovation scope included: Luau Stage updates, ADA access and digital lighting enhancements, Imu Pit install, ADA access updates, landscape redesign, bar and service redesign, two additional restrooms and existing restrooms renovation, and re-design of entire event layout and private VIP areas, entrances, and exits. $3 million.

Resort Buffet Renovation: The Hyatt Regency breakfast buffet is the busiest and most profitable restaurant at the resort serving 800+ counts daily. The scope required coordination for design and construction updates including new FF&E and equipment without interruption to the resorts daily breakfast schedule and evening restaurant schedule. $1 million.

Disney Aulani Resort, New Development, Ko ’Olina, Oahu, HI Provided construction management services for the development of this high-profile resort, which represents Disney’s first mixed-use family resort outside of its theme parks. Located on 21 acres of oceanfront property, this expansive new family resort includes more than 800 units consisting of both hotel rooms and Disney Vacation Club villas, as well as an elaborately themed Disney water park and lazy river.

The Modern Hotel Waikiki, Honolulu, HI

This new boutique hotel, designed by famed hotelier Ian Schrager, involved the complete renovation and conversion of the former Yacht Harbor Tower into a 353-room, high-fashion luxury hotel for Marriott. Hired by the project’s owners midway through construction to serve as development manager. In this role, directed the design and construction teams, the EDITION brand representatives, and the owner’s legal team with project development forecasting.
