Career Objective
An Accounting graduate from Charles Sturt University with more than two years of work experience in Accounts payables & Receivable, Payroll and financial reporting. Seeking full time position as an Assistant Accountant to improve my skills set and establish my future career as a Certified Professional Accountant in Australia. A clear communicator with good customer service skills, committed to meeting his deadlines on time and establish healthy work relationships with the team members and ensure productive results.
Key Skills
●Understanding and ability to use major Accounting platforms (MYOB, SAGE, SAASU and Quick Books)
●Proficient user of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
●Skilled in accounts payables & receivables, financial reporting and payroll administration
●Excellent written and verbal communication skills via 2 years of customer service experience.
●Team player, organised, strict follower of work ethics and result oriented.
●Good analytical and problem-solving skills developed through University research project.
Personal Attributes
●Flexible: I am flexible with my roles and responsibilities. I am not afraid to take up new roles and responsibilities as it provides me the opportunity to learn more and enhance my skill set. It was demonstrated when I took over the opportunity to maintain and administer payroll while I was working in accounts-payable in my current employment.
●Results-oriented: I strongly believe in results and align all my time and efforts required to achieve the desired results. Working as a payroll administrator I was given a finger scanning time and attendance software, that had flaws, so I used manual time sheets and excel to complete the periodic payroll and also helped to generate additional reports to outline the errors made by the scanning software.
●Organised: Being organised in my opinion is the key to meet deadlines on time. An unorganised work will demand additional efforts and time. In order to ensure everything is organised I always try and use appropriate internal controls such as periodic reconciliations, manual matchings and preparing control sheets to ensure reliability during annual year audit.
