Argo AI Inc. Dearborn, MI 2018-Present
Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Simulations Operator
Ensured completion of scenario deliverables for vehicle program milestone timing, as well as developed design validation test plans. Employed various software to unravel mechanics/kinematics problems related to autonomous vehicles. Deployed and examined AV simulations by controlling scenario environments at required conditions.
Key Accomplishments:
Created virtual test simulations, resembling real-life scenarios for software testing, leading to installation on autonomous vehicle, providing a safety barrier, resulting in saving thousands of dollars, as well as scripted over 5K simulation variations.
Acquired new skills and knowledge of software, such as Linux and Github, while playing a major role in saving the company thousands of dollars by successfully scripting simulations.
The Home Depot Smyrna, GA 2017-2018
Test/ Value Engineering Technician
Conducted benchmark testing on all Home Depot in-store products, while quantified validation and manufacturing costs and procedures on entire mechanical/electrical products by completing tear downs. Gathered and analyzed data for interpreting the results and documenting into detailed written reports. Defined product manufacturing costs by creating Bill of Materials.
Key Accomplishments:
Designed and conducted tests for determining tensile, compression, torque, torsion, and environmental performances.
Developed test fixtures and procedures, facilitating testing on materials, including metals, plastics, ceramics, and glass.
