Responsibilities:

Review all incoming enquiries, tender documents,

Instruct to associate to prepare offers for standard SCC (Saudi Cable Company) products using SAP system, for any non-standard items, send request to technical department to create an item code and specification as per the requirement.

Weekly visit to our customers and follow up for upcoming business.

Submit techno-commercial offer and standard terms and conditions within the limits of authority, and we’ll get prior approval from the management for above the limits and submit to the Client/Customer.

Follow-up with customers for any technical deviations in the offer.

Once order received review all the terms and conditions if any deviations between Purchase Order and offered terms and conditions, technical comparison in line with SCC offer.

Our associates coordinate with planning department for delivery schedules and follow up with production for the ordered material within the timeframe.

Booking of LME (London Metal Exchange) copper/aluminum through hedging department.

Our associated release draft sales orders through SAP system and transfer all necessary documents to customer services department for converting to final order for production, and post order activities.

Coordinate with the customer services for status of material and schedule of shipments.

Ensure that all related documents and conversations based on finalizing the orders are complied and handed over to CS according to ISO procedures.

Maintain records of all the correspondence and offers to customers.

Extra Responsibility as (Tender Analyst)

Reviewed tender documents in detail as the requirement of Low voltage, Medium voltage or High voltage cables, terms and conditions includes financial and technical to allow SCC could participate in the tender.

Prepare synopsis to obtained prior approval from the management

Before finalize the tender pricing arrange a meeting with the higher authority to get approval include the price margin based on company profit with all criteria based on previous data base of similar tenders allotted and informed to finance department to arrange bid bond if required.

Our associates follow up with the technical engineer for specification and planning department for material delivery and other requirement of final offer before scheduled submission date

Mass Project – A Construction Division of Saudi Cable Co.

Project Coordinator for Projects Execution Department (2002 – 2005)

Responsibilities Included:

a)Update work schedule and forecast for the ongoing projects, and report to the Project Manager.

b)Compiling of the technical submittals to the client and consultant.

c)Maintaining database for technical submittals, incoming and outgoing mail either electronically or manually.

d)Preparing punch list items.

e)Compiling As built drawings/details.

f)Also, support to tendering department in compiling technical and commercial proposal, and maintain confidentiality for each and every submission.

g)All other tasks as assigned under the project.

Saudi Cable Company

Associate GM Sales and Marketing (1995- 2002)

Responsibilities Included:

a) Providing all daily routine secretarial services to the Vice President/General Manager.

b) Retrieval of Orders Intake and Shipment Reports on daily basis using SAP system.

c) Maintaining database of the enquiries received and offers sent. Periodically retrieving it for presentation to the Management.

d) Preparation of Presentations for the Management Meetings, and General Board of Directors’ Executive Meetings.

e) Following up with the concerned departments in the company to obtain the data with regards to the Offers sent to clients and Orders received from them.

f) Also, responsible for providing all approval from the management for pricing and technical issues to submit the offer and maintain record.

g) Following up with clients and providing information, if any.
