d)Monthly review & analysis with Budget / Forecasts, Deep diving in to the variances and taking it up with respective stake holders for concluding Business changes.

e)Monthly meeting with U.S and Germany team to explain the variances, business scenario and Business need leading to variances.

f)Presentation on monthly Financials having details of Sales (Zonewise, Brandwise, Machine wise), Production, Cost of Quality, Inventory Ageing, Receivables, Payables, Cashflow, Cost of fund and Tax status (DT & IDT, both).

2.Finance Controller, Reporting and Audits: -

a)Monthly, Financial year, Calendar year and US year (November to October) release of financial results as per IND AS, Germany GAAP, and US GAAP.

b)Responsible for consolidation with John Deere India (P) Ltd, the parent company.

c)Responsible for various Audits, starting with framing an Audit Plan, Conduct, Review, submission of Responses and presentation to Management.

d)Big four Audit teams attached for:- Statutory, Internal, SOX, GST, Income Tax, Transfer Pricing and Cost Audit.

e)Driving timely release of Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasts.

f)Rollout SOPs on business processes & ensure adherence (P2P, O2C, FX, Logistics, DGFT, ICFOR, After Market etc…).

g)Ensure regulations and controls are in place and used all time.

3.Corporate Finance: -

a)Close working with consortium banks on Project funding, Buyers Credit, Packing Credit (INR & Non-INR), Working Capital, Term Loan, Vendor Financing, ECB, BGs, and LCs, worth Rs 450 Crores.

b)Managed to get cost of funds below 7% p.a. & ensured Forex risk coverage with 4% p.a.;

c)Managing Forex in respect of Inter Corporate Transfers, Export & Imports to the tune of Euro 150 million (Rs 1200 Crores)

d)Rigor on Inventory management, Moving/ Non-moving review;

e)Ensure finances are properly administered and monitored, for e.g. Advances, Guarantees, Deposits and Capex.

4.Tax and Regulatory Compliance: -

a)Lead core team of Tax & IT professionals, SAP consultants for GST implementation & rollout across 17 locations.

b)GST process determination, training, SAP configuration for 17 Locations.

c)Responsible for ensuring GST compliances, 3B, GSTR1, GSTR-2A, 9 & 9C, E-invoicing, and E-Way bill reconciliation.

d)Excise compliances, Periodic & Merchant Export, Audit;

e)VAT / Sales Tax Compliances of 16 Locations;

f)Making sure to avail export incentives under MEIS & SEIS and DBK compliances.

g)Ensuring timely SAD Refund from Custom house;

h)Compliance with Custom’s special valuation board (SVB);

i)Ensuring Import benefits under FTP via EPCG,

j)Responsible for Direct Tax compliances, Planning, Scrutiny & Assessments;

k)Decision on Group level Transfer Pricing, Framing Local file, Support for creation of Master file, closure of TP Memorandum & Assessments;
