RESPONSIBILITES

Responsible for effective implementation of quality management system of the project. Preparation and update of Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Procedures &Inspection test plans for various activities in line with Project/Client requirements.

Ensuring the implementation of Quality system among various departments to meet quality objectives.

Pre-qualification of vendors and subcontractors.

Monitor the Subcontractor’s performance for compliance with Quality requirements.

Study the Piping & Tank MTO’s and identify the PQRs/WPSs required for the project.

Preparation and getting the approval of required Proposed WPSs from the Client.

Reviewing the NDT procedures for its compliance to the client requirements prior to the submission to client.

Liaise with client on technical issues against stated requirements and resolve it through technical deviation requests (TDRs) or Technical Queries (TQ).

RESPONSIBILITES

Review work order for general quality assurance and specific customer requirements.

Inspection carried out as per QAP/ITP.

Review of Inspection & Test Plan, material verification, all stages of inspection, dimensional inspection and welding inspection.

Inspection of raw material as per P.O. reviewing of mill test certificate and related documents for traceability and conformance to mechanical/chemical properties in accordance with applicable Codes & Standard like ASTM, ASME, AWS, BS and API etc.

Inspection carryout on piping, Vessel, Heat exchanger, steel grating and vendor supply equipment inspection.(piping/welding /equipments)

Attended ASME “U”, “U2” & NB “R” stamp certification auditing as Quality Control Engineer.

Providing technical support for engineering department in material selection, weld joint design, NDT requirements.
