EXPERIENCE

QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST/INSPECTION • EATON CORPORATION • SEPTEMBER 2011 – PRESENT

Extensive experience in the execution, oversight, assessment and enforcement of procedural, regulatory, and contractual compliance and supplier operations through Quality & Supply Chain Functions.

Played an integral part in training new employees & front line leads in process & procedures related to Eaton, Customer, and Industries Requirements.

Usage of various inspection measuring equipment’s (calipers, micrometers, pi tapes, torque wrenches, symmetry, depth and thickness gages, envelope gages, surface finish machines, high tooling, etc.).

Perform Critical Inspections for various OEM Value Streams & Eaton’s Repair Station; manage calibration on all instruments and equipment used daily/monthly/yearly.

Perform lower and top-level inspections on components, hardware’s, couplings, seals, flanges, & ducting to ensure adherence to drawing criteria.

Full ability to create and generate Inspection Plans and FAIR’s for both Internal and External (Customers).

Ability to maintain and attain knowledge of Industry Standards such as: ISO 9001, NADCAP, ASME, AMS, NAS, and Blueprints for many customers (Boeing, Pratt & Whitney, GE, Airbus, etc.).

Perform 100% Quality Final Visual Inspections on all products prior to Shipment.

Lead the Inspection Team and successfully cross-train peers; communicate with management, supervisors, and program/project managers to benchmark, define, coordinate, and execute accelerated process improvements.

Develop key processes and adjustments to meet and exceed company expectations to increase the flow of products within the manufacturing floor.

First in, first out (FIFO): Ability to coordinate with management personnel and successfully execute jobs based on due dates, and matter of timing and importance.

Adhere to Safety Requirements & Maintain work areas using 5S+ procedures (Sorting; Straightening; Shining; Standardizing; Sustaining)

Worked closely with Design and Quality Engineering to evaluate and identify inconsistency within blueprints and newly made incoming products to make changes, develop improvements, & problem solving.

Worked closely with DSQR by gathering required documents, full traceability of all processes prior to shipment, as well as pre-inspect & final inspection procedures.

Full ability to modify and create new Part Marking Instructions based on internal and external (customer) requirements.
