Knowledge & ability for safe, reliable and efficient operation of units (BTG & Offsite) by quick decision making & appropriate actions.

Responsible for smooth Start-up and Shutdown of Unit (Boiler/Turbine & Other auxiliaries) whenever required and for giving proper instructions & guidance to Subordinates of various areas such as Boiler, Turbine, ESP, Ash plant & Coal Handling Plant, Vacuum system (ACC & water cooled).

Ensure proper logging of all critical parameters is being done at all locations by respective operators and engineers.

Responsible to preparing an annual budget, analyzing variances & initiating corrective actions.

Monitors and maintain process equipment to ensure continuous production.

Adherence review and tracking of long term maintenance planning.

Responsible for performed Job work order and support Engineer in SOP writing.

Interacts with management, engineers and quality assurance to resolve complex failure trends.

Responsible for budget preparation for function and tracking the expenses on monthly basis.

Prepare daily generation report, fuel management report, water management report& fault analysis report if required, yearly plant budget report, defect management.

Successfully Conducted Energy audit in power plant. Recommends plant modifications as needed.

Coordination with every dept. to ensure full achievement in PLF & Plant Equipment availability on time.

Prepares daily and monthly reports of power plant operation, power usage, and costs.

Make necessary decisions for smooth operation of the plant.

Ensure that Safety Procedures are carried out at all times on all areas in the power plant premises Safety Health Environment (SHE).

Ensure in implementing of company policies, SOPs, safety procedures, good housekeeping.

Achieving maximum efficiency of the plant, ensuring smooth start-up & shutdown of emergency conditions in plant, ensuring proper management of Ash Handling System.
