Boilers, Thermopac, ETP, RO, Softening plant, DG Sets, Air Compressors, Steam supply System, all mechanical & electrical utility, Solar System, all yarn Dyeing machines, Tumbler Dryers and all other production machineries & equipment’s for dyeing, knitting, tufting etc.

Key Responsibilities:
-Responsible for all Engineering functions i.e. Mechanical, Maintenance and Project Engineering Services.
-New Projects expansion planning & execution and Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
-Modernization of existing plant & projects.
-Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works.
-Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of plant & site.
-Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively.
-Manage the team to ensure machine availability.
-Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
-Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro- mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken.
-Ensure that designated plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/ solutions when required.
-To develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.
-Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
-Manage the process of the introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up the specification, to managing suppliers through to full installation in collaboration with all relevant parties.
-Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high levels of standards and accuracy.
-Maintenance, Operation & Erection of Humidification Plant (Luwa & Batliboi Make), DG Sets of Caterpillar & Cummins make, Air Compressors of Atlas copco make, Boilers Thermax make, DM Plant, ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), STP (Sewerage Treatment Plant),Softening plant, Bale press of make control, Fork lifters of Toyota make, Godrej Make and Voltas make, Yarn Conditioning Machines, Yarn Dyeing & Fiber Dyeing M/C’s (Hisaka, Fongs and Thies make) Cooling towers, all types of pumps, fans, Air & water pipelines, circular & rectangular ducts and Fire hydrant system.
-Sustains and improves reliability, plant operation, maintenance, and systems documentation.
-Generation of compressed air on air compressors and its uninterrupted supply to the plant.
-Providing uninterrupted water supply in colony & mill premises, and regular maintenance & operation of water supply & fire hydrant system.
-Coordinating between engineering Deptt. And other different departments like production, commercial, HR & IR etc. for smooth functioning of the deptt.
-Organizing all consumables & spares required to the subordinates for operation & maintenance of utilities or for carrying out the given jobs.
-Regularly monitoring the inventory of spares and arrangement for the same where required.
-Execution of special maintenance jobs during shutdown of complete plant on festival holidays.
-Providing technical data and information while designing new installation.
-Generating indents for material procurement and providing complete technical specification of spares and approval of MRN in stores.
-Checking materials specification as per indent procured by materials Deptt.
-Preparing & managing annual budget, capital budget & objectives of the Deptt. by regular monitoring of the same.
-Preparing & checking of bills as per job actually executed by contractors.
-Monitoring the mechanical store expenses on monthly basis as per budget and taking suitable control measures where required.
-Enforcing safety measures for safety of personnel and equipment and elimination of fire hazards.
-Implementing the various requirements under different statutory regulations.
-Checking of daily logbooks for each shift and Appraise Unit Head about daily progress / problems.
-Maintaining the 5S &TPM activities in the organization under the guidance of TPM consultant from CII.
-Distribution of jobs among workers on daily basis.
-Liasioning with Pollution Control Board and Explosive Department and Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
-Identifying training needs of staff and arranging for their training.
-Maintaining discipline in the deptt. And Impart training to staff & workers of the deptt. And handle their grievances.

- Manage the process of disposal of obsolete machinery, plant and equipment from gaining agreement to write off to physically removing it and its safe and lawful disposal.

A Textile Division of ISPAT group of companies, one of the India’s biggest Spinning Unit running with Imported Machinery under One Roof (84672 Spindles & 960 Open End Rotors) producing 100% Cotton and Polyester Cotton Blended Yarns.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operation & maintenance of DG Sets 6.2MW 18V 32 Model of Wartsila make 03 Nos, Humidification/Air conditioning plant of LTG Make, 4 Nos. 1050 TR centrifugal type chillers of TRANE make, 3 Nos screw type air compressors of Atlas Copco (1053CFM each) and 3 heats of compression type air dryers of Delair India Ltd make, STP, WTP, Softening Plant, cooling Towers, Bale press, Yarn conditioning machines, Fork lifters and fire hydrant system.
-Manages the plant’s operations, maintenance, projects, and departments including spare parts, inventory, budget, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
-Implements a wide variety of engineering solutions to increase equipment availability, increase net operating rate, reduce operation losses, and achieve standard and acceptable production rates.
-Introduced and developed an approach to maintenance incorporating principles of, TPM, CRM, QC and Kaizen philosophy, and then created plans, programs, and strategies for personnel and equipment improvement.
