I have over 17 years of active duty military service in the U.S. Air Force Security Forces. This time gave me the opportunity to develop vast experience managing, supervising, and leading team members throughout every spectrum of nuclear security, tactical operations, facility, and personnel protection. I also gained an extensive background in security operations, training, logistics, process development and manpower management.

EXPERIENCE

2018 – PRESENT

SECURITY SHIFT MANAGER, 5th security forces squadron

Led department of over 100 personnel through all stages of nuclear asset protection, airfield defense, and law enforcement operations on the U.S. Air Force’s only dual nuclear mission base. Directed post scheduling for over 228,000 man-hours of duty, and over 17,000 man-hours of training annually. Section achieved and maintain highest performance rating in an organization of over 550 employees. During my time here, the unit won 3 major Air Force Awards, and achieved its highest operational rating in a decade.

2015 - 2019

NUCLEAR WEAPONS SECURITY SUPERVISOR, 5th security forces squadron

Directed 60 personnel performing nuclear security duties to the Air Force Global Strike’s largest Nuclear Storage Area. Ensured 65 buildings, 1200 alarm sensors and all physical security features exceeded DOD standards. During my time here I received multiple Air Force Inspector General awards.

JAN 2016 – AUG 2016

OTHER COUNTRY NATIONAL PROJECT LEAD, 379TH CIVIL ENGENIRING SQUADRON

Supervised over 160 people from 42 different career fields performing escort duties. Directly worked with projects managers on 7.8K projects ensuring proper security requirements were met for contract employees. I also led the Security Forces augmentee program which ensured volunteers were battle prepped for contingency and disaster situations. I received the Air Expeditionary Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year award during this time.

2013 – 2014

LAW ENFORCEMENT MANAGER, 18th FACILITIES SERVICES SQUADRON

Supervised a 15-member United States/Japan joint force. I was the certified Anti-Terrorism resource officer and analyzed and recommended initiatives to the division head. I spearheaded a 63 operational checklist translation project which saved 80-man weekly and $150M in Numbered Air Force assets. During this time, I also Cultivated the Japanese national entry program with local business which aided in a 40% increase for the 18th FSS annual earnings.

2010-2013

ALARM DATA MONITOR, 341ST SECURITY FORCES SQUADRON

Provided command and control and monitored intrusion detection equipment. Maintained and secured nuclear storage facilities and operated closed-circuit recording devices while dispatching to alarm situations. I also controlled nuclear weapon areas incidents and accidents by directing responding forces until situations were resolved.

2006-2010

KEYS AND CODES SENIOR LEADER, 341ST SECURITY SUPPORT SQUADRON

Maintained and controlled the Missile Electronic Encryption Devices (MEEDS) and Missile Entry Control System (MECS). I received over 15K suitability notifications, expedited processing of information which ensured no degraded mission security. I was also the focal point for a new operation which led to 94% improvement across 10 different units and reduced man hours by 60%. Additionally, I trained individuals from 8 divisions on Communication Security (COMSEC) which decreased errors by 72% and saved $150K in crypto keys across two years. Procedures I developed are still currently utilized. During this time, I earned the squadrons #1 Non-Commissioned Officer rating on evaluation reports.
