The role is to identify and implement process control solutions that result in continuous improvement of Linde plant and equipment and are consistent with Linde’s global strategies and standards. The role includes maintenance and support of existing software, hardware, and equipment. To share the global best operation practice and work with the Remote Operating Center (ROC) and on-site operations team to analysis gaps, make plan of improvement to achieve best operation in the region.
Process Automation Consultancy
Work with global team to develop minimum specification for new systems and roll-out.
Support for remote operation implementation in the region based on Best Operation Practice (BOP).
Provide technical support for the new projects in the region. Develop specification and protocols, control and support of software development to ensure meet Linde requirement.
Review control system hardware and software configuration, testing and commissioning of new assets as necessary to be ready to take over.
Provide technical support for the new projects in the region for both IS and IPC requirements.
ROC System Management Continuous Improvement
Closely work with site control and instrument engineer to improve control system reliability.
Manage control system hardware and software records and ensure that updated information keep in Instrument & Process Control (IPC) team.
Auditing of control systems.
Identify shortcomings in existing regulatory control system and implement improvement.
Identify obsolete equipment and develop plans to manage the obsolete equipment (spares, alternative suppliers) or upgrade control system.
Support site teams to develop appropriate plant contingency plans. Projects
