On 25 February 2020 I along with my mentor Mrs.Suman Gupta and Tannu Priya conducted trial study on di erent types of fungus found on the mobile screens. We were inspired by a work of Kaushar Malik and Nanihal Naeem from Lahore college of women. They did a study on the bacterias found on computer mouse and keyboard. They said that open source of computer shows hundered percent contamination. As we know that use of mobile phones has increased drastically due to the globalisation in the modern world which also leads to contamination. The growth of infectious organisms such as bacteria and fungi is prominent on the mobile phones, so the indi duals also prone to infectious diseases. Sample were taken from two di erent indi duals from di erent academic blocks. Sterilized swabs were used to collect a sample from the mobile screens. Before collecting the sample swabs were dipped in normal saline. SDA Agar Media infused with gentamycin was used for the cultivation of the fungus. Gentamycin was used to prevent the growth of bacteria. Incubation for 24 to 48 hours at 37 degree Celsius was done. Slide was prepared using teasing method. Stain used for identi cation was lactophenol cotton blue. STUDY ON DIFFERENT TYPES OF FUNGUS FOUND ON
