Ensure safe working procedures are being followed and personnel wear proper PPE during work execution.

Ensure welfare facilities are being properly deployed at site, ramps and offices as well as that personnel use them properly.

Advise on all safety related matter pertaining to company activities

Issue safety alerts and site notices regarding safety related incidents/accidents and learning points.

Conduct periodic safety campaigns and motivation programs.

Monitor the PTW system and its functionality and maintain compliance with the same

Keep record of all daily Toolbox Talks, copies of permits, medical records etc

Maintain daily log book for observations and coordinate with contractor safety department to close out on any unsafe situations that are identified

Ensure work place and rest areas are hygienic and welfare facilities provided are apt.

Maintain STOP card, What If or Workers Observations sheets register and analysis and ensure active participation of all employees in safety.

Monitor, maintain and update periodically training matrix and nominate personnel for third party training requirements.

Conduct emergency and fire drills periodically to ensure efficiency of emergency evacuation procedures and fire fighting

Prepare Emergency evacuation plans and train on job specific needs

Prepare and maintain documents relevant to HSE such as JSA’s, Safe Operating Procedures, System procedures etc

Prepare documents related to training (assessment structure, session plans, attendance register, assessment papers etc)

Create presentations and new courses

Assist in preparation and maintaining QMS documents pertaining to training

Monitor and maintain Ministry of Labor approval documents for training and periodically renew the approvals as required if expired Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager and support daily activities including corporate meetings.

Analyze existing safety management system, assess gaps, revise and revamp HSMS.
