Experimental study of torsional effect on Flat Plate in built-up column Introduction: To analyse torsion in flat plate use in lacing in built-up column. To determine the torsional behaviour of material or test sample exhibits when twisted or under torsional forces as a result of applied moments that cause shear stress about the axis. To study the various properties of the flat plate other than torsion. Analysis the actual torsion on plate by ABAQUS software, AUTOCAD & STADD PRO. Tensile test on flat plate on UNIVERSAL TESTING MACHINE.
