Underwent 5 days training at Tuticorin Thermal Power Station (TTPS), Thoothukudi and learnt about the types of coal employed, water source for power plant and the series of process underwent to produce power of 1020 MW

Underwent training at RLT Instrumentation Private Limited, Chengalpet and learnt about the industrial flow meters, boilers and calibrators

The overview of the project is monitoring waste water by measuring physical parameters such as pH, temperature, turbidity using Raspberry pi

Wireless Power Transmission using Tesla coil

The project works on the principle of Tesla Theory and can transmits power wirelessly which can able to power an 230V CFL bulb

Temperature measurement using bimetallic strip with the help of an optical fibre

The objective of the project is to measure the temperature of the bimetallic strip and develop an equation to determine the relationship between the temperature and its resistance (Ongoing).

RESPONSIBILITIES UNDERTAKEN:

Class committee member and class representative.

Organizer in the Robotics event of INTECHO’18, an intercollege national level technical symposium.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND PARTICIPATIONS:

Captained college kho-kho team in Zonal Level Competitions.

Secured First place in “puzzle-solving” event in Carte Blanche’18, national level technical symposium conducted by Computer Society of MIT.

Participated in the seventh edition of the Chennai Marathon “Skechers performance marathon” (10km) held at, Chennai.

EXTRA- CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND HOBBIES:
