For natural gas power plant, spearheaded root cause analysis for boiler problems, including installation of additional instrumentation and collection of real-time data to determine cause of hot spots in boiler. Tracked water quality and water treatment chemicals used in facility. Prepared bid package and engineering specifications for the purchase of a backup air compressor, and oversaw its installation and operation. Managed shutdown and mothballing of power plant.

Designed, developed, and managed a $100,000+ capital improvement project to divide refining platform into two parallel trains, allowing processing of other crude oil. Modified and created P&IDs for extensive repiping, and completed project on time and under budget.

Provided engineering support to oil and gas production and processing platforms. Participated in several shutdowns and startups including cleaning amine system due to impurities. Performed troubleshooting on bulk separators and electrotreaters due to pad formation, and on water contacting towers due to fouling, recommending a different tower packing and other modifications to unit. Performed monthly operations reports including air quality reporting, material balances, and related items. Tracked efficiency of Klaus unit catalyst and made recommendations on replacement / regeneration.
