• Review of work scope to determine the Material Submittal (If any) & Method Statement to be submitted with respect to the instrument Scope in line with specification and code Requirements.

• Knowledge on preparing Engineering document like I/O list, Alarm& Trip list, data sheets, index, MTO.

• Instructions to Construction personnel with respect to the application of Method Statements for instrument Installations.

• Over all In-charge in the execution of instrumentation Works in the project wherein the instrumentation Supervisor / Foreman directly reports.

• Monitoring and reporting the instrumentation Work progress & anticipation of future required Materials, equipment / tools or personnel at site.

• Detect the unacceptable trends to the executed instrumentation Works and initiate a Corrective action for it.

• Estimate the quantities of instrumentation consumable materials & review the purchase Orders for it.

• Notify the QA/QC department for the completed task ready for inspection by submitting Internal RFI for the internal inspection of QA/QC.

• Reviews drawing like IFC (Issued for Comments) and AFC (Approved for construction). IFA (Issued for Approval), ASB (As Built), IFI (Issued for Information).

• Preparation of Project scheduling and Daily, weekly, Monthly Progress Reports.

• Review of Instrumentation drawings and preparation of material requisitions.

• Every day Site Execution work progress Monitoring & Preparation of site progress report to submit client to meet client satisfaction with proper safety at site i.e. overall site work monitoring.

• Review specifications Process Data Sheets (PDS), Piping Material Specifications (PMS), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s), Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, F&G Detector Layout Drawings and other relevant documents. Establish contract review criteria, identify and resolve discrepancies and divergences from original proposal through the initiation of technical queries to projects/client.

• Vendor Drawing Review for various Instrumentation packages.

• Administer the development of detailed engineering documents and drawings including the preparation of the design basis document, Process and F&G datasheets Bill of Quantities, Block Diagrams, system specifications, cable routing, control room layouts, Loop Diagrams, Terminations Diagrams, Installation Hook-up Drawings, Instrument location Plans, Cable Schedules and JB schedules.

• Review vendor drawing and doing site visit with EMERSON, YOKOGAWA vendor during that time we need to do some red line markup if we require allotting another channel. Page 2 of 5

• Prepare method statement for both construction activity & demolition activity as per project scope and submit to client and after comments to be incorporate with CRS-comments resolution sheet. COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

• Responsible for the preparation of all loop folders and directly involved in planning and execution of all instrument loops checking works and directly control or provide instructions to the instrument technicians.

• Carry out the SAT together with the End user’s Inspector and Vendor representatives. Ensure all delivered hard- and software is available and installed correctly and the YOKOGAWA Stardom (RTU) system is properly configured, assembled and functional in accordance with the intended design as specified in the approved documents and all tests are performed and recorded in separate checklist.

• Responsible for the overall direction, monitoring, coordination and control of pre-commissioning and commissioning works. Directly involve in functional testing of interlocks, alarms, and trip setting as per approved control philosophy, cause and effect drawing and alarm & trip list drawing. Carry out re- configuration, re-calibration if necessary and troubleshooting of faulty instruments.

• Responsible for the overall direction, monitoring, coordination and control of pre-commissioning and commissioning works.

• Directly involve in functional testing of interlocks, alarms, and trip setting as per approved control philosophy, cause and effect drawing and alarm & trip list drawing. Carry out re-configuration, re- calibration if necessary and troubleshooting of faulty instruments.

• Set up calibration shop for QP approval and supervise bench calibration and field calibration of vendor’s package instruments.

• To be work with AMS system to do auto calibration for control valve.

• After graphics import from system we have to verify with P&ID and F&G location layout should match with actual installation in site (this is done for SAT preparation).

• During hot loop checking we have to check in the DCS graphics, base plate, alarm list, XD scale, OUT scale, Linearity as well as depends on the I/O list.
