VOLUNTEER PALCEMENTS
Dainfern College Outreach: 2011-2013
Supported many local disadvantaged schools by providing them with school equipment, e.g. school tables, stationary and books. Supported local fundraising community groups and assisted when help was needed.
Mulberton Children’s Home:
My family and I went to Mulberton where we worked and played with children at a children’s home in Mulberton for children who had no family and some disabled children. Spent around 6-7 hours making food, playing games and we also donated a lot of clothes of ours which we didn’t wear or were too small to the home.
2019 – Employment
Company name: BlueFlag PTY LTD
I started working at Blueflag in May 2019 on a job shadow basis responsible for video production and photography for all the events of Blueflag. This has given me the opportunity to be the sole producer for Mercedes Benz vehicle launch, Transnet New Brand Launch, Nedbank Golf Challenge. Blueflag is a family business and has given me the greatest opportunity which is only for the nine months.
Previous Works/Jobs
Promotion:
In 2017 I worked as a club promoter at Saints in Cape Town for a couple months
Acting and Modelling:
From the end of Primary school (grade 7) to grade 10 I had worked with the modelling agency, WomanMan.
I worked on a 3 catalogue as a model for the clothing company Samson
I also worked on a SABC June 16th Advert as an actor.
I also worked on a television advertisement with Jet.
Filming and Photography:
For the past 2 years I have been working in the media production section at the Thabo Mbeki Foundation . Here I helped film and edit more events (private and Public) for the foundation. I am currently still support the foundation out with the filming of events. The programmes includes 2018 & 2019 International Woman’s Day Event at Turffontein Racecourse, 2018 & 2019 Birthday celebrations of the Former President, Interviews with Former Presidents, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nigeria.
I have excellent skill in using the camera and especially the film equipment. I learnt this from my studies at AFDA, I have learnt how to film and edit interviews, live shows, TV shows, game shows, music videos, short films.
I have also worked with a few young and upcoming musicians and producers, by filming studio sessions and vlogs for these artists.
Interests
I am very interested in joining the Media & Entertainment industry. I enjoy working both behind (Cinematographer, Writer, videography) and in front of the camera (Actor, Model)
I am mostly interested I the sports entertainment industry because I have more knowledge in that category.
I am interested in shooting music videos and TV shows.
I am also very interested in the branding, social media and marketing, especially development of marketing material, brand ambassador and content development. I believe I can grow in this role and be more experienced in digital marketing.
