PROFILE

Since February 2018 I have mostly been contracting for small businesses. My primary interest is still in financial services/advice and all of my long term career goals are in this area too. Strong experience of discretionary fund management front and back office roles including: Client relationship management / Client services. Implementing MiFID II process changes - writing new suitability report templates & processes to meet new legal requirements, and be clear and easily understood by the clients. Writing suitability reports and investment proposals for HNW clients, breaking down complicated aspects into easily digestible points leading to positive action being taken by the client. This often involved modelling cash flows (particularly with regards to retirement income) and portfolio modelling. Investment analysis, liaising with key partners and HNW clients, general operations, and much more were also part of the role. I have very strong teamwork skills, particularly in cross cultural teams where others struggled to make meaningful and profitable connections. I have a very positive mindset (although not without a healthy balance of cynicism) and I enjoy the company of others. I am honest; results oriented, and value my integrity highly. I also have very unique analytical/research skills and a keen eye for solving problems. I have excellent written and verbal English skills, especially with regards to presentation and report writing.
