BharatiyaNabhikiyaVidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI) is a Government Company under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE).The objective is construction and commissioning the first 500MWe Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) in India located at Kalpakkam, TN.Also to pursue operation and maintenance of the same for generation of electricity.

Responsibilities during my career:

Fabrication & Erection of pipe lines, pipe line supports & its structures.

Erection & commissioning of sodium and miscellaneous pipe lines.

Understanding the engineering drawings of piping and structural supports technically.

Review of Engineering Drawings, witnessing and preparation of inspection reports.

Giving direction to Technician and Reporting to the group head.

Identifying, Resolving and escalating critical issues to minimize project risk factors.

Maintaining the proper resource alllocation and manpower handling.

Performing Pneumatic testing, hydro testing, and helium testing, pickling and passivation examination.

Planning and preparing the monthly progress reports.
