As a department head I am controlling the whole operation of cutting,from marker making using accumark,assorting to fusing and with the introduction of cutting excellence, revamping some systems and procedures the cutting room now has a higher throughput again at no additional cost, all area’s now have a comprehensive report that links together creating a seamless system from fabric inbound up to actual yardage yield calculations per order.

Responsible for all quality issues and fabric concerns I took control ensuring best size ratio’s and fabric widths possible were used to increase fabric utilization and marker efficiency using Gerber System,. I introduced new lay planning procedures that yielded an increase in marker efficiency from 74% to 85%. I also make Sewing Production Loading Plan based on capacity and Shipment Dates.

Jennys garment manufactured pants,jackets,skirts and blouses exported to Australia,USA,Japan and Europe.

Fabric Wharehousing-

. I know how to handled,storing.moving,and non moving fabrics, ensuring the safe keeping of the fabric warehouse and their yardage contents.

Assuring that fabrics are stored in their designated and assigned racks in a neat,orderly,organized,safe and secure manner.

monitoring the movement of fabrics material in/out of the warehouses are properly recorded and posted into the warehouse tracking system.Conducting physical/cycle-count activities on a regular basis and see to it that fabric are allocated per p.o .and will be issued based only on actual marker consumption.

Both DCS and Allied are subcons of Crismina in MarivelesBataan,I was transferred to Muntilupa(Main Plant) to handle and monitor cutting activities.Our largest customer is Gap Old navy,Levis Dockers and New Times.I am responsible for Cutting and Lay planning.On project I undertook is the proper utilization of Fabric to minimized width and length loss.This is the start of using Lectra System as our automated marker.Our consultant Mr Scott Wilton implemented the Optiplan methods. I Organize and implement centralization of cutting room, from 2 cutting rooms into one, reducing the headcount but maintaining output.
