DETERMINATION OF ANISOTROPY OF ROCK SAMPLE BY NON DESTRUCTIVE METHOD M.TECH o Data on sandstone is collected from laser doppler vibrometer and is denoised using MATLAB to obtain a smooth signal.

o From the signal the compressional velocity and shear velocity are extracted in the form of a tensor matrix. o Tensor matrix is generated to obtain the weakest stress and gives an idea where hydraulic fracture actually initiates.

DETECTION OF FRACTURE ZONE BY WAVELET ANALYSIS B.TECH o Studied the low frequency variation of well logs using wavelet packet techniques. o Linear correlation was derived between energy signal of approximated section of water saturation log and number of fractures.

o Minimum sum of square error method was used to denoise the data.

A DESIGNING A REAL TIME DOUBLE AXIS SOLAR TRACKER o Developing an algorithm and there by a device to calculate the apparent position of the sun at any time of the day. o Features include dynamic solar tracking on a moving platform as well as automated alignment of solar panels at varying installation alignment.
